GRACE ALONE God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him, and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.   FAITH ALONE By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.   SCRIPTURE ALONE The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT GOD We believe in the Holy Trinity. The one true God is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are three different persons but one divine essence. The Bible says: "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with your always, to the very end of the age." --Matthew 28:18-20 "As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." --Matthew 3:16-1

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT SALVATION We believe that man is in need of a Savior. There is only one Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to earth as a man, lived a sinless life, died on a cross and rose again three days later. He took the punishment of death in place of mankind. We are saved by God's grace (undeserved and unearned love) through faith in Jesus Christ. Whoever believes that Jesus died to forgive them of their sins will be saved. The Bible says: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." --John 3:16-17 "But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." --Titus 3:4-7

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT MANKIND We believe that man was made in God's image, but fell into sin through the disobedience of Adam and Eve. After "the fall" all people are born sinful and without the ability to save themselves from their sin. The Bible says: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." --Genesis 1:27 "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me." --Psalm 51:5 "This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through redemption that came by Christ Jesus." --Romans 3:22-23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." --Romans 6:23

WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT CHURCH We believe the church is made up of everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. As Christians we gather regularly to praise and worship God, to gain strength and direction for our lives, and enjoy fellowship with other believers. The Bible says: "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only." --Matthew 4:10 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." --1 John 1:7
