New parents are often looking for help in directing their infant's earliest religious training.  They want to do something, but they don't know where to begin, especially before their child learns to talk. Redeemer offers to parents of children infants through 3 years old the BEGINNINGS Cradle Roll program.  Besides giving specific suggestions regarding the child's Christian growth, these materials emphasize the importance of the parents' own spiritual lives.  Parents are not only their children's first teachers, but usually their most influential teachers.  Children learn primarily from the examples their parents set. BEGINNINGS Cradle Roll begins when a child is baptized here at Redeemer.   Tracts, informational brochures, birthday cards and books are sent to the family on a regular basis until age 3. All baptized children of this age group are represented on a Cradle Roll Banner displayed in the church narthex.
